The needs of a Small Office / Home Office are simple-it must be cost effective. Dataframe has a turn key solution just for the SOHO market. In this scenario, one office is in the U.S. while the remote office is located in Taiwan. The business wishes to reduce its US to Taiwan long distance voice charges.
Step 1.
Ensure that the US office has a full time Internet connection such as T1, DSL or cable modem.

Step 2.
Ensure that the Taiwan office also has a full time Internet connection such as T1, DSL or cable modem.


Step 3.
Purchase 2 of our Dataframe I-Phones.

Step 4.
Start Talking.
Summary:
    • All long distance charges between two sites are eliminated by using the I-Phones.
    • I-Phones have two connections, one to Ethernet for IP dialing, one to standard PSTN RJ11 jack for standard phone line dialing.
    • Calls outsides of the two offices are still standard toll calls and are unaffected by the use of I-Phones
    • Proprietary solution. I-Phone can only dial another I-Phone over IP.
    • Faxing is not supported.

Business Requirements:

    1. Calls between all 4 offices should use toll bypass, in other words, no long distance charges.
    2. One office should be able to call external vendors / clients located in the country of the other 3 remaining office, paying only the toll within that country. For example, US office wants to call a customer in Australia (customer is not in the Australia office), but don't want to incur international US to Australia charges.
    3. Traveling sales person should be able to call all 4 offices minimizing toll charges. For example, if a traveling sales person is in the UK, he wants to call the China office through the UK office, taking advantage of the VoIP.
    4. Anyone in the 4 countries should be able to call anyone else in the 4 countries and not pay a international toll charge.

Dataframe Voice Gateway products meet the business requirements. Each Voice Gateway support both inside extensions and outside PSTN (Telco) lines. The Voice Gateways communicate with one another via VoIP. Users within each office can call users at another office without incurring any Telco charges. External calls can be made with outside lines, allowing users at another office to call anyone within this country incurring only local country toll charges.
